The fourth World Summit on “Peace, Security and Human Development” concluded with a new assembly of parliamentarians and the return of a historic assembly of scientists.

Two persons who have been a godsend to countless refugees were awarded the Sunhak Peace Prize during World Summit 2017.

The second day of World Summit 2017 celebrated the UPF founders’ birthdays and assembled more than 400 of the world’s parliamentarians in Korea’s National Assembly.

The fourth World Summit on “Peace, Security and Human Development” opened with a banquet attended by dignitaries from 120 nations. The participants included more than 400 members of parliament as well as heads of state and government, prime ministers, civil society dignitaries, clergy and women leaders.

We are pleased to announce the 4th World Summit on “Peace, Security and Human Development” to be convened on February 1-5, 2017 in Seoul Korea. The World Summit is organized and sponsored by the Universal Peace Federation (UPF). The primary co-sponsor for the World Summit 2015 is the Sunhak Peace Prize Foundation. The World Summit will also feature the first Global Assembly of the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace.
